Mandy Carter
Marketing, Sales and Logistics Administrator
Born and raised in Hawkes Bay, Mandy Carter has had an avid interest in the New Zealand wine industry for many years.
After completing a Bachelors Degree in Art History and Architectural Studies at Wellington’s Victoria University, Mandy’s started her wine career working as a cellar hand in New Zealand, Australia and California. Armed with this valuable experience learning the fundamentals of winemaking, she returned to Hawkes Bay and joined Clearview Estate Winery in 2006 as Cellar Door Manager/Sales & Marketing Assistant.
Mandy joined Paritua Vineyards in 2008, allowing her to further pursue her interest in wine brand development. Her responsibilities extend to all aspects of marketing for Paritua and Stone Paddock wines: from drafting tasting notes and conducting public wine tastings to website management and sales support.
Mandy is also a regular contributor to Remix Magazine, for which she writes a quarterly review of New Zealand wines.
